FORD GT 40
Is it necessary to present FORD GT 40? Concept born of the spirit of Eric Broadley and taken again by the American mark which will make of it the pillar of its strategy of victories with the assistance of Carroll Shelby. FORD will take it along even beyond the possible one at the time of the "24 Heures du Mans" 1969, in front of a frustrated PORSCHE. Many motorizations will be tested on this car which will be unceasingly improved throughout its prestigious career

JIM CLARK
This July the 18th 1965 Jim Clark started from the middle of the first line of the "Grand Prix" of the Netherlands in Zandvoort, having established the second best time of the tests right behind Graham Hill. Deprived his LOTUS with engine 32 valves which had broken during the tests, Clark started on the mule which he did not know. After a race of 80 laps and 2h 3 ' 59 ' 1/10 later with the average speed of 162, 334 km/h Jim Clark won the "Grand Prix" followed by Jackie Stewart on BRM at 8 seconds and of Dan Gurney on Brabham at 13 seconds. To the exit of this race Jim Clark led the Championship of the World 1965 with 45 points preceding Graham Hill who added up 26 of them to him.

DAN GURNEY
There celebrated its 75 years in 2006 and remains certainly one of the most mythical pilots of the motor race. It did everything! Formula 1 in Europe where its victory at the "Grand Prix" of Belgium with Spa at the wheel of Eagle Weslake of its design remains in all the memories, while passing by the endurance to Europe, the CanAm and Indy in the U.S.A. Jim Clark said of him which he was the pilot who it feared more. In 1962, it gains the "Grand Prix" of France of formula 1 at the wheel of PORSCHE 804 who will remain the only victory of the mark in this discipline. In 1964 it repeats in this same test but this time with Brabham. Finally in 1967, it gains the "24 Heures du Mans" associated with A.J Foyt at the wheel of the famous FORD MK IV N° 1. This drawing pays homage to the 3 victories in France of the Big Dan.

AC COBRA 289 FIA
Dan Gurney and Jerry Grant lead the 289 SHELBY COBRA N° 146 through the sunny villages of the sicilian mountains this April 26th, 1964. 10 turns of 72 kilometers will be right of the suspensions of the car but will not prevent it from finishing in a very beautiful 8th place with the general classification and first of the category of more than 3 liters.

PORSCHE N° 11
Type 962C C1 Group. This PORSCHE was entered by TEAM KREMER RACING for the "24 Heures du Mans 1987. With its wheel, the pilots Fouché, Konrad, Taylor will traverse 4425,169 kms at the mean velocity of 184,382 km/h. Many technical problems involved in electronics, the brakes and the exchanger will penalize this car which will finish the last good race of PORSCHE of the category.

FERRARI 275 P2 TARGA FLORIO 1965
Nino Vaccarella and Lorenzo Bandini align this May 9th of 1965 at the start of the TARGA FLORIO with FERRARI 275 P2 3,3 liters, new war-horse of the mark of Modena. On the sinuous circuit, FERRARI will be unbeatable, gaining the test with the average record of 109, 562 km/h and leaving far behind a competition which will be made surprise as of the first turns by Nino Vaccarella at the top of his art and strong of a perfect knowledge of the sicilian circuit. Lorenzo Bandini will take the wheel of P2 to the supply of the 3rd turn and will not have any more that to manage the advance accumulated by Vaccarella so that the crew gains the victory at the end of the 10th turn.

PORSCHE N° 72
Type 962 C. Group C 1. This car was entered by PRIMAGAZ COMPETITION for the edition of the "24 Heures du Mans" 1987. Not encountering a particular problem, the pilots: Yver, De Dryver, Laessig will bring this PORSCHE to the 2nd place of the general classification with 4531,992 kms traversed of 24 hours at the mean velocity of 188,833 km/h.

JAGUAR N° 4
Type XJR-8 LM. Group C 1. This JAGUAR was entered by SILK CUT RACING for the edition of the "24 Heures du Mans" 1987. One found at his wheel the crew Cheever, Boesel, Lammers. This car will finish 5th of the general classification after having encountered many problems during the race: replacement of gear box, concern with the cable of accelerator and a seized up hub. It will achieve 324 laps with the average of 183,121 km/h adding up 4394,891 kms.

FORD MK II
FORD MK II was the logical continuation of GT 40. FORD wished by developing this model to reach the victory in endurance and to thus beat FERRARI which dominated this discipline since many years. The selected engine was the FORD 427 Ci (7 liters) which was prepared to resist races of 5000 kms. Many considerable techniques and financial for the time were implemented by FORD which gained finally the "24 Heures du Mans" in 1966 aligning 3 MK II to the first 3 places. The GT 40 MK II gained this same year all the great tests reserved for the prototypes.

FERRARI 333 SP
"24 Heures du Mans 1998". Sunday: 2h 59 a.m . Mauro Baldi has just returned to the stand for a light adjustment of suspension. He sets out again 4 minutes later and takes again the rhythm of the race which will bring the crew: Didier Theys, Gianpiero Moretti and Mauro Baldi in the 14th place of the general classification and with 3rd of the group of the prototypes. Final classification surprising for this FERRARI which had won in begining of February in Daytona and mid Mars in Sebring, which everyone was waiting for in the Sarthe's circuit.

PORSCHE 996 RSR IMSA
Raymond Narac is with the attack this Sunday morning to try to go to seek the 3rd place of the GT 2 category. He is followed by PORSCHE N° 71 of Alex Job Racing who will finish first of the category. In spite of the efforts of Raymond Narac and Romain Dumas the 76 will fail the foot of the podium of GT 2 to 1 turn only of 3rd. This very honourable place for a first participation in the test will not make forget for as much the exploit achieved by TEAM IMSA to make it possible the seriously broken car with the warm up to take the departure saturdays afternoon.

PORSCHE 993 GT2 N°60
The team of this Porsche were Robin Donovan, Carl Rosenblad & Jean Pierre Jarier who was his14th participation at Le Mans. They were ranked third of the GT2 around midnight, this Porsche will suffer some transmission issues. After Rosenblad pit stand, the team withdraw from the race at 3h45 am due to a suspension problem.

FERRARI 365 GTB 4 Daytona
This car was entered by Raymond Touroul in GTS category. Thanks to its V12 engine of a legendary robustness, FERRARI will traverse 4280,505 kms of 24 hours with the average of 178,354 km/h.
First place of the GTS, 5th of the general classification, first place of the energetic efficiency and first place in the class of the cars from 3 to 5 liters. With its wheel, the pilots Cyril Grandet and Dominique Bardini will achieve 313 laps and will finish very tired, but really very happy.

PORSCHE 993 GT2 N°65 - Roock Racing - Le Mans 1998
This PORSCHE controlled by Schirle, Warnock and Ahrle will be the first to inaugurate the gravel vats as of 4 p.m. 13. Many problems will overpower N° 65 of ROOCK RACING adding up at the end of the 24 hours almost 5 h30 of stop to the stand. Replacement of windshield, frontal shock, change of the gear box and slew-rounds will be right of the time average of the courageous 993 GT2. It will be classified finally 8th GT2 and 22nd of the general
